Q.Why is Plasma TV better than conventional TV?

- Plasma TV output higher resolution than conventional TV, will take output from PC computer in XGA, SVGA and VGA modes.

- Plasma TV emit no scan lines such as on conventional TV.  Picture is completely perfect, even when you look very closely.

- Plasma TV are capable of 16.77 million colours, an incredible range of colour depth not seen on normal TVs before.

- Perfectly flat, plasma TV screens  limit any picture distortion at the edges as is common with conventional screens.

- Wide viewing angle when comparing Plasma TV to rear projection or LCD screens.

- Magnetic proof - position speakers etc. near a Plasma TV and it's no problem!



Q.Why are Plasma Televisions more expensive than conventional TV?

The complex process used to manufacture Plasma televisions means that there is almost 90% wastage in production of the product.  For every 10 Plasma TV units put into production, only 1 will pass quality control and be sold to the public.

Q.What is a Plasma TV video board?

A video board is used with a Plasma TV to accept video input - composite video (yellow cable) or S-Video typically.  The video board is external to the Plasma TV.  The video board is not a TV tuner.  

Video boards come as standard with all Plasma TV screens unless stated.



Q.Does a Plasma TV come with TV tuner so I can watch terrestial TV?

Typically the plasma TV will come without a TV tuner unless stated.  You may use a VCR hooked up to the plasma TV to view television channels.



Q.Does a Plasma TV come with a Plasma Television stand?

Yes, a tabletop stand is as standard with most of our plasma TV screens.

Q.Can I mount my Plasma TV anywhere in my house/commercial location?

Yes, provided the Plasma TV bracket is firmly installed & approved by Plasma Television manufacturer - and the structure of the building checked prior to any drilling/work.


Q.What benefits does a 3-year extended Plasma Warranty give me?

Plasma TV Warranties typically include 10 day minimum turn around time for Plasma tv returns and a dedicated support number for your 3 year term.  In some instances you may receive a Plasma TV on loan until your Plasma television is returned repaired - this is all included in the 3-year extended Plasma TV warranty (different manifacturers have different extended Plasma TV warranty conditions).  See specific manufacturer Plasma Television warranties for more details.
